[ When he doesn’t get any call or text to cancel TJ’s pretty pleased. Dates aren’t his usual schtick. Hook-ups are, but Steve doesn’t seem that sort. Neither was Sean. He doesn’t mind working for it if he has to. Worst case scenario: it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

He shows up a few minutes early, dressed from head to toe in black. Nice trousers, a button down shirt, nothing too fancy, just like he assured. Shoes are shined, he’s freshly shaved, and short of a little redness rimming his eyes, he doesn’t look a wreck. He rings the buzzer outside Steve’s building and waits patiently to see if he’s home. There’s a still a chance something came up, but TJ’s hopeful it hasn’t. ]
